(Alliance News) - Hammerson PLC on Friday said Non-Executive Director Desmond de Beer bought a total of 6.3 million shares over three transactions on Thursday.
The FTSE 250-listed shopping centre owner said de Beer, through Delsa Investments Pty Ltd bought 3 million shares at GBP0.5266 each for a total of GBP1.6 million. He also purchased through Optimprop 3 Pty Ltd Account No. 4, an additional 3 million shares at the same price, and a further 300,000 at GBP0.5237 each for a total of GBP157,103.
Delsa Investments and Optimprop 3 form part of a trust structure of which Desmond de Beer is one of the ultimate beneficiaries.
London and Johannesburg-listed Hammerson said following the transactions, de Beer has a 0.9% stake in the company
The stock closed 0.6% lower at 50.90 pence each on Friday in London and flat at ZAR12.00 each in Johannesburg.
