(Alliance News) - Hammerson PLC on Thursday said Alice Darwall will replace Sarah Booth as general counsel and company secretary, with effect from March 27.
The property development and investment company said Darwall brings a broad and extensive skill-set and legal expertise developed across a number of different sectors. This includes ten years as general counsel for clothing retailer French Connection Group PLC, textile maintenance services provider Berendsen PLC and, more recently, Mothercare PLC and Debenhams.
Hammerson shares were trading 7.2% lower in London on Thursday at 159.05 pence each, while in Johannesburg, the stock was down 8.8% at ZAR32.97 a share.
