HaloSource's Astrea Gets Green Light From Water Quality Association

2nd Oct 2018 10:59

LONDON (Alliance News) - HaloSource Corp on Tuesday said its astrea ONE filtering water bottle has been certified to the NSF53 standard for lead reduction by the Water Quality Association.

The clean water innovator said the astrea ONE bottle also received the NSF53 certification for the reduction of copper, cadmium, mercury, trivalent chromium and benzene, as well as the NSF42 certification for the reduction of chlorine and zinc.

"This is a huge milestone for HaloSource and for the astrea brand, as this certification represents a culmination of over 18 months of work by both our technical and commercial teams," said Chief Executive James Thompson.

"With the growing number of reports of lead in drinking water across the US, there is now a solution with this next generation reusable water bottle," added Thompson.

Shares in HaloSource were trading 6.3% lower on Tuesday at 0.75 pence each.
