(Alliance News) - Halma PLC on Monday said it has acquired critical communication systems manufacturer Static Systems Holdings Ltd for GBP37 million.
The FTSE 100 hazard detection and life protection technologies manufacturer said the purchase - which will be funded from its existing facilities - will extend its communications presence across multiple healthcare settings.
"In addition to opportunities for growth in international markets and through deeper clinical and technological integration, it is envisaged that Static Systems will provide a route to the UK healthcare market for certain existing products and services within Halma's medical sector," says Chief Executive Andrew Williams.
For the twelve months ended November 2020, Static Systems posted revenue of GBP20.1 million.
Shares in Halma were trading 1.8% lower at 2,410.56 pence each on Monday afternoon in London.
