Gulf Keystone Repurchases USD15 Million In Shares Under Programme

(Alliance News) - Gulf Keystone Petroleum Ltd said Monday it has completed its initial USD15 million share buyback programme, first announced in early July.

In early July, the oil & gas firm launched the share buyback worth up to USD25 million, which would be funded from existing cash resources.

Between July 8 and August 30, Gulf Keystone repurchased 5.2 million shares at a volume weighted average price of 234.00 pence each.

The company said it will make an announcement once it has started the buyback of the remaining USD10 million in shares under the programme.

Shares in Gulf Keystone Petroleum were down 1.1% at 234.35 pence on Monday.
