Gulf Keystone Petroleum CEO To Retire

25th Jun 2014 08:21

LONDON (Alliance News) - Gulf Keystone Petroleum Ltd said Wednesday that Todd Kozel will retire from his current role as Chief Executive Officer of the company at its upcoming annual general meeting on July 17, 2014.

Subject to re-election to the board of directors by shareholders, Kozel will take up a new role of Executive Director.

Gulf Keystone said a search for Kozel's replacement is underway with the assistance of an international executive search firm and potential candidates have been identified.

The company also said that Jeremy Asher, Deputy Chairman and non-executive Director and John Bell, non-executive Director, have ceased to be Directors. Gulf Keystone said it will restart its previously announced search process, with the assistance of recruitment firm Odgers Berndtson for two new independent non-executive Directors, and a further announcement on that process will be made in due course.

Shares in Gulf Keystone Petroleum were trading 1.52% lower at 80.75 pence per share Wednesday morning.
