Gulf Keystone Gets USD5.9 Million For March Oil Sales From Iraqi Field

(Alliance News) - Gulf Keystone Petroleum Ltd on Friday confirmed that it has received a gross payment of USD5.9 million from the Kurdistan regional government of Iraq for Shaikan crude oil sales during March.

The oil producer also said it has received a proposal from the regional government relating to the payment timing of outstanding invoices for oil sales during November 2019 to February 2020.

Gulf Keystone noted that the government's proposal is in line with those made to other international oil companies operating in Kurdistan, and remains in dialogue with the regional government.

Shares in Gulf Keystone Petroleum were down 1.2% at 70.88 pence on Friday in London.
