(Alliance News) - Gulf Keystone Petroleum PLC on Monday said that a gross payment of USD20.1 million was received from the Kurdistan regional government of Iraq for crude oil sales from the Shaikan field for the month of September last year.
The net payment to Gulf Keystone for its portion was USD15.8 million.
Earlier in January, the company had said average output from the Shaikan field in 2019 was around 40,000 barrels per day and predicted average production of between 43,000 barrels and 48,000 barrels per day for 2020 from the field.
Shares in Gulf Keystone were 0.5% lower on Monday morning in London at a price of 184.74 pence each.
