LONDON (Alliance News) - Asset manager Gresham House PLC on Monday said it has raised GBP15.0 million for its Gresham House Forestry Fund LP.
The money was raised from investors including university college endowment funds, family offices and private individuals.
The fund will invest in forest assets in the UK and has already contracted to buy five forests in the west of Scotland for GBP12.1 million. It is planning to raise GBP50.0 million by the time of its final close in the second half of 2017.
Shares in Gresham House were down 0.5% to 310.05 pence on Monday.
