(Alliance News) - Greencore Group PLC said Tuesday it has appointed Emma Hynes as chief financial officer and executive director with effect on May 19.
She will be replacing Eoin Tonge, who will step down from the FTSE 250-listed sandwich maker in May to join the food and clothing retailer Marks & Spencer PLC in the same role.
Hynes will join the company as chief financial officer designate with effect on April 6.
Hynes's most recent role was as chief financial officer at Irish leisure and hospitality firm Press Up Entertainment for a year since 2019.
Prior to that, Hynes was a part of Greencore for 11 years from 2007 to 2019, leaving as finance director.
"We are delighted that Emma is returning to Greencore having gained invaluable experience with an external company. Emma was an outstanding finance leader during her tenure with us and has an in-depth knowledge of both the group and the food and beverage sector. I greatly look forward to working with her," said Chief Executive Officer Patrick Coveney.
Shares in Greencore were up 5.9% at 143.80 pence on Tuesday in London.
