LONDON (Alliance News) - Greencoat UK Wind PLC Thursday said it has raised about GBP2.0 million after issuing 2.0 million shares to meet investor demand.
The company, which invests in operational UK wind farms, said it issued the shares at 102.5 pence each in a move it says will enhance liquidity in its shares.
"The proceeds will be used to repay outstanding debt," the company said in a statement.
Greencoat said there will be about 343.5 million shares in issue after the new shares are admitted to trading.
Greencoat shares were Thursday quoted at 102.50 pence, down 0.25 pence, or 0.2%.
