(Alliance News) - Greatland Gold PLC on Tuesday said a survey has enhanced existing targets and identified multiple new targets at the Paterson Range East gold-copper licence located in Western Australia.
The exploration company said a Mobile Metal Ion geochemical surface soil survey indicated widespread geochemical anomalism across previously identified targets and three additional new targets, G1, G2 and G3. A total of 2,183 samples were collected over existing targets under the survey.
Gervaise Heddle, Greatland chief executive, said: "We are encouraged by the results of our recent geophysical and geochemical studies which have identified a range of exciting, high-priority targets. The Goliath target in particular, which displays very similar characteristics to Havieron, has emerged as one of our highest priorities for 2020 as we look to fast track exploration across the Paterson region."
Greatland Gold shares were down 0.9% at 1.63 pence each in London on Tuesday afternoon.
