Greatland Gold Finds Significant Visible Mineralisation At Havieron

4th Dec 2018 15:09

LONDON (Alliance News) - Metal exploration and development firm Greatland Gold PLC said Tuesday it has identified significant visible mineralisation in all holes of its Havieron licence drill campaign in western Australia.

Results from the first hole, HAD005, were reported November 19 and returned a combined intercept of 275 metres at 4.8 grams of gold per ton of ore and 0.6% copper.

The four additional holes drilled at Havieron, HAD006 through to HAD009, were completed with all four intersecting "significant visible mineralisation". Hole HAD006 ended in mineralisation at 838 metres and HAD009 at 932 metres.

"We believe that these observations, when combined with recently reported assay results and the results from new geophysical modelling, provide further evidence to support our view that Havieron has the potential to represent a very large mineralised system," said Greatland Gold Chief Executive Gervaise Heddle.

Havieron is 100% owned by Greatland Gold and a new drilling campaign is to commence there in the first 2019 quarter.

Shares in Greatland Gold were down 0.6% at 1.77 pence on Tuesday afternoon.
