Greatland Gold Expands Panorama Project In Western Australia

31st May 2018 12:38

LONDON (Alliance News) - Greatland Gold PLC said Thursday it won an Australian government conducted ballot in regards to application for licence E46/1170 in western Australia.

The precious metals explorer now has "preference" and will be recommended for the licence by the Western Australian Department of Mines, Industry Regulation & Safety.

Licence E46/1170 covers an area about 25 square kilometres and is close to Greatland's existing licences in Panorama. The new licence expands Greatland's total licence area to 155 square kilometres.

Chief Executive Officer Gervaise Heddle said: "We are very pleased to expand our footprint in the Pilbara region and to consolidate the ground adjacent to our existing licences. We look forward to providing an update regarding our exploration plans at Panorama once we complete a full technical review of the new licence area."

Shares in Greatland Gold were down 0.3% Thursday to 0.618 pence each.
