(Alliance News) - Great Portland Estates PLC on Wednesday said it has completed its largest office development yet at 2 Aldermanbury Square, London.
The London-based office landlord said it has reached practical completion for the 321,650 square feet of best-in-class office space. Law firm Clifford Chance LLP, which has pre-let all the office space, will soon take occupation to start its fit-out.
The project was first designed in 2019 and received planning consent in 2021. It was completed on time and to budget, Great Portland Estates added.
"It is almost double the size of the previous building, has the highest sustainability standards and delivers much improved public realm including the new Basinghall Walk," said Piers Blewitt, director of development management at Great Portland Estates.
"We're extremely proud of this outcome and look forward to welcoming Clifford Chance back to the City of London in the coming weeks."
Shares in Great Portland Estates were up 0.7% at 283.50 pence on Wednesday afternoon in London.
