LONDON (Alliance News) - Graphene NanoChem Tuesday said it has shutdown and started the upgrade process of its Senawang Chemicals Facility which is scheduled to be completed by the year end.
Graphene said completion of Senawang upgrade will increase the production capacity of the chemicals facility to 120,000 tonne per annum and enhance its feedstock processing capability in a more cost efficient manner.
It will also improve production efficiency and optimise plant uptime, and allow the plant to produce a broader range of high value performance chemicals.
This will reduce the overall operating cost of the Senawang Chemicals Facility and increase margins, the firm said.
Recommissioning of Senawang is planned by the end of January 2014.
The stock was trading at 62.05 pence Tuesday morning, up 1.30 pence or 2.1%.
