LONDON (Alliance News) - Graphene NanoChem PLC on Wednesday said the first commercial order for its Confi-Gel nano-engineered gelling agent is ready to be deployed.
The company said the USD33,300 order for the Confi-Gel was secured after six months of testing and lab trials conducted by Scomi Oiltools, which will now use the product in an existing contract in Pakistan in the first quarter of this year.
Scomi is then expected to use Confi-Gel in projects in Turkmenistan, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, Myanmar and India.
Confi-Gel is used in base-drilling fluids to cut fluid loss in oil and gas wells and ensure wellbore stability.
Shares in Graphene NanoChem were up 4.7% to 8.5082 pence early Wednesday.
