LONDON (Alliance News) - Graphene NanoChem PLC said Thursday that it has filed two new patents for graphene nanomaterials production as its expands its nanomaterials products portfolio.
The performance nanochemicals and advanced materials company has filed patents for the "Method of Production of Graphite Nanofiber" and the "Method of Making Graphene by Multiphase Fluid Dynamic Exfoliation," which relate to two different types of graphene nanomaterials developed for specific sets of applications areas.
Graphene NanoChem said that it will be seeking to extend the patent protection for its latest inventions in selected jurisdictions worldwide.
"As part of our long-term strategy, we will continuously invest in building our nanomaterial products portfolio that would allow us to explore commercial applications of graphene nanomaterials in strategic growth areas," said Chief Executive Jespal Deol.
Shares in the company were Thursday trading 9.70% higher at 54.85 pence per share.
