LONDON (Alliance News) - Grainger PLC said Tuesday it has appointed David Prescott as director of strategy & corporate finance.
Prescott is expected to take up the role in late August.
He will joining Grainger's executive committee and "will work closely" with Chief Executive Officer Helen Gordon. His responsibilities will include overseeing the residential landlord's commercial finance team - reporting to Chief Financial Officer Vanessa Simms.
Prescott has 10 years of experience in the real estate industry - in both the sell-side, buy-side and advisory roles. He will join the FTSE 250-listed company from Kempen, a Dutch investment bank.
He previously worked as a research analyst at Barclays Bank and Aviva Investors.
Chief Executive Helen Gordon said: "I am pleased to announce the appointment of David Prescott as Grainger's director of strategy & corporate finance. David brings with him a great depth of experience and knowledge of the listed real estate sector, which will be valuable in Grainger's next stage of growth."
Shares in Grainger were up 0.3% Tuesday at 305.20 pence each.
