LONDON (Alliance News) - Gowin New Energy Group Ltd said Monday it has appointed Irelan Tam as its chief financial officer and company secretary effective immediately in a non-board position.
Tam replaced Brian Ho, who is stepping down to pursue other business interests, the company said.
Tam previously held a vice president of strategy and investment position at a Beijing-based medical device manufacturer, which Gowin didn't name.
"This is another incremental and strategic step in the transformation of the company. The board also wishes to recognise the considerable efforts and achievements of Brian Ho in challenging business circumstances and we wish him every success in his future endeavours," said Chairman Garry Willinge in a statement.
Shares in Gowin are trading up 20% at 1.38 pence Monday afternoon.
