LONDON (Alliance News) - Golden Saint Resources Limited Tuesday said it has signed a contract with Dove Equipment & Machinery Co Limited of Thailand for the purchase of equipment at a total cost of GBP82,000.
The West African diamond and gold exploration company said the contract is for the purchase of alluvial diamond washing equipment for its small scale alluvial mining projects in Sierra Leone.
The company said it will acquire a portable diamond wash plant for use on its Tongo and Baja projects where artisanal mining and initial exploration has identified areas with significant potential for alluvial diamonds within the Moa River and Sewa River drainage systems.
Golden Saint also said it has entered into a short-term lease arrangement with a private unnamed diamond explorer for their existing alluvial diamond wash plant located in Sierra Leone for use on nearby projects.
Golden Saint shares were down 1.6% to 12.05 pence Tuesday.
