Golden Saint Resources Says Baja Bulk Sampling Due To Start Next Week

12th Sep 2014 08:44

LONDON (Alliance News) - Golden Saint Resources Ltd Friday said its bulk sampling plant is now being assembled at the Baja licence in Sierra Leone, with the programme due to start next week.

The company said it would focus its bulk sampling operations on the Baja region until the Ebola situation in at the Tongo licence in the east of Sierra Leone subsides.

Golden Saint has already been hit by the Ebola outbreak in Sierra Leone, imposing a 21-day curfew on movement from the Dove Explorer diamond bulk sampling plant from Kenema to Baja as a result of the outbreak of the virus. That curfew ended at the end of August and the company started moving the bulk sampling plant to Baja in order to start bulk sampling for diamonds.

Golden Saint shares were up 8.2% to 2.19 pence per share on Friday, putting it among the best performers on the London market.
