LONDON (Alliance News) - Golden Saint Resources Ltd on Monday said it has found a 9.475 carat clear white diamond while in the process of bulk sampling at its Tongo licence area in Sierra Leone.
Golden Saint said it considers the diamond to be of good quality.
It added it has recovered around three to four grams of gold from the Tongo area and is making modification to its sampling equipment to allow it to recover high quantities of any further gold recovered.
Shares in Golden Saint were up 5.3% to 0.20 pence on Monday morning, one of the best performers in the London Main Market.
