LONDON (Alliance News) - Mobile software and services company Globo PLC said Wednesday it has seen a strong start to 2015, with revenue up 36% in its first quarter compared to the previous year.
In the quarter to end-March, earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation rose 22% to EUR13.4 million from EUR10.1 million, Globo said. Cash generated from operations increased to EUR13.5 million in the quarter, compared to EUR1.9 million a year before.
Revenue from its GO!Enterprise software more than doubled during the quarter to EUR13.3 million from EUR6.4 million.
During the quarter, the company won a number of contracts with customers including Vodafone Group PLC and The Coca-Cola Co, and won a contract renewal for 50,000 GO!Enterprise licences and an incremental purchase order worth USD1.2 million.
"As our US expansion continues to gather momentum, I expect our early successes in 2015 to continue through the remainder of the year," said Chief Executive Officer Costis Papadimitrakopoulos in a statement.
