Globalworth Real Estate Says CEO Free From Romanian Criminal Probe

8th Jul 2015 10:44

LONDON (Alliance News) - Globalworth Real Estate Investments Ltd Wednesday said that Chief Executive Ioannis Papalekas is free from a criminal investigation in Romania.

The real estate company said it has received confirmation in writing that Papalekas has "been formally released from all aspects of the criminal investigation".

On June 26, the company had said that Papalekas expected to be formally released from the investigation "soon".

In December 2014, Globalworth had said that the prosecutor had told Papalekas that there was no ongoing investigation of him.

It had been waiting for formal notice of that stance.

Globalworth shares were untraded on Wednesday. The stock last traded at EUR5.50.
