(Alliance News) - Globalworth Real Estate Investments Ltd on Wednesday announced that co-Chief Executive Officer Ioannis Papalekas has stepped down from his role with immediate effect.
His counterpart Dimitris Raptis will take on all CEO responsibilities, after nine months as co-CEO. Raptis has been part of the company for eight years since 2012.
Papalekas first founded the Eastern Europe-focused real estate investment trust in 2001, and has been in a leadership role in the company since.
"On behalf of the board, I would like to thank Ioannis for his immense contribution and unwavering commitment to Globalworth since its inception and for his central role in creating the successful business that exists today. The board looks forward with confidence as Dimitris steps into the sole CEO role in these challenging times," said Chair Geoff Miller.
Shares in Globalworth Real Estate Investments were untraded on Wednesday, last quoted at EUR6.85 in London.
