(Alliance News) - GlobalData PLC said Thursday that Sally Johnson will not be joining the data and analytics firm as chief financial officer from FTSE 100 education group Pearson PLC, where she is deputy chief financial officer.
This is due to Pearson's Chief Financial Officer Coram Williams stepping down, in order to take on a similar role at an undisclosed company in Europe.
As a result, Johnson will succeed Williams on his departure later in 2020.
In addition, until further notice, GlobalData's current Chief Financial Officer Graham Lilley will remain in his role.
Shares in GlobalData closed down 7.3% at 1,237.07 pence on Thursday in London.
