LONDON (Alliance News) - Global Petroleum Ltd on Friday said it has agreed a work commitment with the Namibian Ministry of Mines & Energy for Phase 3 development of Licence 0029 in the Walvis Basin offshore the southern Africa country.

Global Petroleum shares were trading up 13% at 1.27 pence each.

The additional work programme, with a cost of USD350,000, consists of various studies, including mapping of source rock, mapping of contourites deposits and fault studies, among others.
