LONDON (Alliance News) - GLI Finance Ltd Monday said it has agreed to invest GBP1 million in UK Bond Network, a peer-to-peer bond platform, in return for a 16.6% equity stake in the business.
UK Bond Network describes itself as a bond investment platform connecting sophisticated investors and high-net-worth individuals with UK small- and medium-sized enterprises seeking finance.
"UK Bond Network has achieved impressive growth and is an excellent strategic fit within our portfolio of platforms that provide finance to growing businesses," GLI Finance Chief Executive Geoff Miller said in a statement.
GLI Finance shares were early Monday up 0.3% at 56.90 pence.
