Glencore Reports Retirement Of Non-Executive Director Peter Grauer

LONDON (Alliance News) - Commodities company Glencore PLC said Tuesday that Non-Executive Director Peter Grauer has retired from the company's board, effective immediately.

"On behalf of the board I should like to thank Peter for his five years of service as a director. Peter has been a dedicated and collegial member of the board who has demonstrated his strong commitment to the company throughout his time as a director," said Chairman Tony Hayward.

Grauer is executive chairman of Bloomberg LP.

Shares in Glencore closed up 1.0% at 368.40 pence.
