GlaxoSmithKline Vaccines President Luc Debruyne To Step Down

LONDON (Alliance News) - FTSE 100-listed GlaxoSmithKline PLC said on Tuesday Luc Debruyne, president of the Vaccines division will leave his role and the company at the end of 2018.

He will be replaced by Roger Connor, currently the president of Global Manufacturing & Supply with effect on September 1.

Debruyne has been a part of GlaxoSmithkline for 27 years since 1991, and been the Vaccines president for five years since 2013.

In addition, Regis Simard has been appointed president of the Pharmaceutical Supply Chain, therefore joining the Corporate Executive Team. Simard is currently the senior vice president of Global Pharma Manufacturing and has bee a part of GlaxoSmith Kline since 2005.

Shares in GlaxoSmithKline were up 0.5% at 1,544.20 pence on Tuesday.
