(Alliance News) - Document management software developer GetBusy PLC on Thursday reported a widened half-year loss, but said "new business and higher revenue per user" increased its interim revenue.
The Cambridge-based company reported revenue of GBP7.0 million in the six months to June 30, up 13% year-on-year from GBP6.2 million.
However, the company suffered a GBP712,000 pretax loss, stretched from GBP571,000 last year.
Operating costs rose 15% to GBP7.2 million, GetBusy said.
Chief Executive Daniel Rabie said: "In the second half, we will capitalise on the enhanced growth opportunities that are in front of us, starting a program of accelerated investment in product capabilities and growth within our highly scalable SmartVault business to drive sustained growth in shareholder value over the coming years."
GetBusy shares closed 7.9% higher at 89.00 pence in London on Thursday.
