GetBusy Annual Loss Almost Halves As Revenue Rises In "Strong" Results

5th Mar 2019 11:26

LONDON (Alliance News) - GetBusy PLC on Tuesday said its annual loss narrowed by almost half as revenue increased in the year.

For 2018, the management and productivity software developer posted a pretax loss of GBP1.2 million versus GBP2.1 million a year ago.

Revenue rose 17% year-on-year to GBP10.9 million from GBP9.3 million the year before.

Chief Executive Officer Daniel Rabie said: "Our strategy of building a long term sustainable growth business based on high quality recurring subscription revenues is delivering results, with a strong performance in each territory from our two existing products.

"In 2019 we will continue to invest in customer acquisition for SmartVault and Virtual Cabinet to drive sustained growth from each product. As the volume of beta users for GetBusy increases we will continue to learn from the data we gather and iterate the product and marketing strategy accordingly. 2019 looks set to be an exciting year."

GetBusy shares were trading down 0.9% at 32.20 pence each.
