Georgia Capital subsidiary prices Eurobond tap offer of USD65 million

(Alliance News) - Georgia Capital PLC on Wednesday said subsidiary JSC Georgia Capital priced a USD65 million Eurobond tap issue.

The platform for buying, building and developing businesses in Georgia said its subsidiary intends to use USD35 million of the proceeds to fund capital allocations to its portfolio companies and retain USD30 million to be used for general corporate purposes.

Georgia Capital shares were trading 1.6% higher in London on Wednesday at 500.00 pence each.

At the end of February, the company said its performance improved over 2020. Net asset value per share as at the end of 2020 was GEL48.12, a 27% increase from the end of September 2020 and 2.7% growth year-on-year.
