Geong International Shares Up 65%, Chairman Sees Significant H2 Opportunities

26th Sep 2013 14:15

LONDON (Alliance News) - Software provider Geong International Limited hopes to announce new contract wins, while it sees "significant opportunities" for the second-half, Chairman Henry Tse told the company's AGM Thursday.

Geong shares were Thursday quoted at 4.75 pence, up 1.88 pence, or 65.2%. It was the second top mover on AIM at 14:27 Thursday.

It also said it expects its first-half results to be in line with its expectations.

However, Tse also said that the company expects total trade receivables and accrued income to be slightly lower on September 30 than that reported for March 31 2013, when it was GBP22.1 million.

The cash collection for the period from April 1 to August 30 2013 was GBP3.5 million, which he said was in line with company expectations.
