(Alliance News) - Genel Energy PLC on Tuesday said it has received USD11.5 million in payments from the Kurdistan regional government for oil sales during the month of November.
The London-headquartered oil production company said that the regional government paid Taq Taq partners a total of USD3.8 million, with Genel's net share amounting to USD2.1 million.
It added that the Tawke field partners have received a gross payment of USD38.5 million, with Genel's share being USD9.4 million.
Genel said sales from its Sarta oil field will be included in invoices relating to December 2020 onwards.
Shares in Genel were up 0.6% at 143.40 pence in London on Tuesday.
