LONDON (Alliance News) - Oil and gas company Genel Energy PLC on Friday said it has received payments from the Kurdistan regional government in Iraq and said production from its Tawke field grew in April.
Genel said it has received a USD16.0 million payment from the government, reflecting part settlement of the USD32.3 million invoiced for April sales from the Tawke oil field.
Tawke production in April hit an average of 118,918 barrels of oil per day, Genel said, up from 74,546 barrels a day in March.
