LONDON (Alliance News) - Genel Energy PLC on Tuesday said the partners in the Tawke field in the Kurdistan region of Iraq have received payment for March crude oil deliveries.
Genel said the partners have received a USD16.9 million gross payment for March crude oil deliveries to export and local markets.
An additional USD3.2 million gross payment has been made by the Kurdistan Regional Government towards outstanding payments due the Tawke field partners from previous deliveries.
Tawke export deliveries for March were around 74,546 barrels of oil per day, Genel said, up from 66,427 per day in February. Deliveries to the local market averaged 4,446 bopd, down from 6,697 bopd in February.
During April to date, Tawke deliveries for export have averaged 117,256 bopd, Genel said.
