LONDON (Alliance News) - GCP Student Living PLC on Monday said it has acquired Scape Surrey, a purpose-built, private student accommodation residence, for about GBP18.9 million.
The residence, completed for the 2015/16 academic year, has 141 beds and 2,000 square feet of communal space.
The property is fully occupied for the 2015/16 academic year, the company said.
It is within 100 metres of the south gate to The University of Surrey
The acquisition is being funded with the proceeds of the company's issue of C shares in June.
It raised GBP120 million by issuing the C shares.
