LONDON (Alliance News) - GCP Asset Backed Income Fund Ltd said Friday it has made new investments in social infrastructure projects totalling GBP13.5 million.
GCP said it made a GBP10.8 million loan secured on a senior basis against two supported living developments and a care facility, with the loan note to be issued in tranche and the term of the loan no less than 21 years.
The company also made an investment of GBP2.7 million in a four-year loan secured on a senior basis against a multi-use social infrastructure development in London. The loan will be drawn immediately, said GCP.
Shares in GCP Asset Backed Income Fund closed down 0.7% at 106.25 pence Friday.
