(Alliance News) - Identity management company GB Group PLC said on Thursday profit and revenue are line with management expectations after the first quarter.
In a statement delivered at the company's annual general meeting on Thursday, Non-Executive Chair David Rasche said organic revenue and operating profit grew in the first quarter.
The company has paid a further GBP10.0 million in debt reduction during the quarter, Rasche added.
During the first quarter, GB Group's location unit secured business from North American retailers Patagonia Inc and Moosejaw.com. It also added UK-based charity Christian Aid as a client.
Its identity business signed FTSE 250-listed bookmaker William Hill PLC as a client with its fraud unit securing business from AmBank Group, the sixth-largest bank in Malaysia.
Shares in GB Group were up 0.7% at 588 pence each in London on Thursday.
