LONDON (Alliance News) - Shares in Gattaca PLC jumped on Thursday as the recruiter said it expects annual net fee income up by 6%.
Shares were trading 10% higher at 137.74 pence each.
For the year ended July 31, the firm said it expects net fee income up to GBP78.8 million from GBP74.7 million year-on-year.
The company said that Contract net fee income is expected at GBP56.7 million, up 1%, while Permanent net fee income is up 21% to GBP22.1 million.
Gattaca added that on an adjusted basis, annual pretax profit is expected to be "in line with market expectations".
The company, which ended the year with net debt of GBP46 million, said its "cost containment initiatives remain on track" as it continues to look for cost reduction opportunities.
The company will publish its full-year results on November 8.
