(Alliance News) - Gateley Holdings PLC said Monday it expects to report revenue growth for the first half of its financial year, mostly through a rise in fee earners.
For the six months to the end of October, the legal & professional services group said revenue is set to be no less than GBP51.0 million, a 9.9% rise from GBP46.4 million the same period the year before.
Gateley said this growth was mostly organic, driven by an expansion in its average number of fee earners to 673 at the end of the period, up 22% from 552 the prior year.
Looking ahead, the group said its continued investment in its infrastructure and national service delivery network has fostered confidence that it will deliver against market expectations in the second half of the year.
"The board continues to invest in the future of the group in order to keep pace with a rapidly changing environment. As we approach the end of our first five years on AIM, I am pleased with how our business has delivered on its promises to staff and investors," said Chief Executive Officer Michael Ward.
"Despite the uncertainty around Brexit, which may continue to impact investor and client sentiment in the short-term, we remain confident that the business is well positioned to deliver a strong performance for the full year, in line with market expectations," Ward added.
Gateley will publish its interim results on January 14.
Shares in Gateley - which is headquartered in Birmingham - were up 2.4% at 168.00 pence on Monday in London.
