(Alliance News) - Legal and professional services provider Gateley Holdings PLC on Thursday said that its promising beginning of the year has continued and the company now has over 1,000 employees.
When the company released its annual results for the year to April, it said that the new financial "started very well".
Ahead of the firm's annual general meeting on Thursday, Chair Nigel Payne said the positive start to the year progressed.
Payne explained: "The board is pleased to report that the good start to the year reported at the time of our full year results in July has continued, with strong trading momentum leaving us well placed at this stage of the current financial year."
The company now has more than 1,000 employees, after reporting in July that staff numbers were approaching the 1,000 mark.
At the AGM, shareholders will vote on approving the proposed final dividend of 5.40 pence per share. This would take Gateley's total payout in respect to financial 2019 to 8.0p, up 14% year-on-year from 7.0p.
Shares in the company were 2.2% higher at 164.20 pence each in London on Thursday afternoon.
