(Alliance News) - GAN PLC on Wednesday said it is expanding its existing agreement with FanDuel Group in the US state of Indiana.
This will see GAN be the platform for the deployment of account services for internet sports betting.
Gambling software supplier GAN said the move follows the state's legalisation of sports betting on May 8 and the intra-state Indiana market commencement of internet gambling on October 3.
It also follows GAN's launch of account services for FanDuel in Pennsylvania, on July 22, in addition to the long-standing existing services provided since 2013 by GAN to FanDuel in New Jersey.
GAN said FanDuel launched internet sports betting for residents of Indiana on Tuesday, following the parties obtaining all applicable regulatory consents.
In addition, the company confirmed the receipt of a temporary supplier licence from the Indiana Gaming Commission. This is GAN's second gaming licence awarded in 2019 and third US gaming licence, following grants in New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
"Our effective and compliant platform represents a premium component of the supply chain and our team has a track record of on-time delivery for our long-standing client FanDuel, which has proven to be an exceptionally successful partnership to date in both New Jersey and Pennsylvania," explained GAN Chief Executive Dermot Smurfit.
"Rapid deployment into the US state of Indiana is a logical extension of our relationship to best support FanDuel in capturing early market share of Internet sports betting in Indiana," added Smurfit.
GAN shares were trading 0.4% higher on Wednesday in London at 118.50 pence each.
