LONDON (Alliance News) - Gamma Communications PLC on Monday said it anticipates its earnings for 2018 at the top of market expectations following its expansion into Continental Europe.
The telecommunications firm said it expects earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization for the year to the end of December to be at the top of the range of market expectations.
Revenue and adjusted earnings per share are expected to be in line with consensus expectations, and significantly over the previous year.
Gamma said its performance in 2018 was boosted by a continued strong demand in the UK business market for its portfolio of products and services.
"We are pleased that Gamma has continued to grow strongly in the UK while simultaneously increasing our addressable market by expanding into Continental Europe," said Chief Executive Andrew Taylor.
In 2018, Gamma has expanded overseas for the first time, with the acquisition of telecommunications service provider Dean One in the Netherlands in October.
"Both our indirect and direct businesses continue to grow very well, with the latter performing strongly in the enterprise and public sectors," added Taylor.
Looking ahead, Gamma said it prepares to launch Collaborate, its new unified communications product, which will be available as a bolt-on module to both existing and new Horizon customers.
Horizon is a communications service that provides an extensive range of fixed and mobile telephony capabilities.
Gamma shares were trading 0.5% higher on Monday at 800.00 pence each.
