LONDON (Alliance News) - GameAccount Network PLC Tuesday said it has signed a partnership with Parx Casino to launch a simulated gaming online experience for new customers and existing patrons.
The AIM-listed developer and supplier of enterprise-level B2B gaming software and online gaming content said that as part of the deal, its GameStack Internet gaming system will be deployed at Parx locations for Simulated Gaming, which will allow an immediate upgrade to real-money internet gaming once certain new legislation is passed in Pennsylvania.
Parx Casino is owned by Greenwood Racing Inc and comprises a major thoroughbred racetrack and casino property in Bensalem, Pennsylvania.
Parx is the market leader in Pennsylvania with a 30% share of the five-property eastern Pennsylvania casino market. The company said that it expects GameAccount Network and Parx Casino to launch a Simulated Gaming website in the fourth quarter of 2014 subject to customary approvals.
The company said Simulated Gaming enables land-based US casinos to tap into the Social Casino market worth an estimated USD1 billion per year in the US in 2013.
GameAccount shares were down 4.3% to 89.00 pence on Tuesday.
