(Alliance News) - Gama Aviation PLC on Tuesday said its global services subsidiary, Airops Software Ltd, has secured a USD2.5 million software-as-a-service contract.
The aviation service provider did not disclose the client, but said that it is a business aviation operator.
Gama said the system is live and provides comprehensive fleet management, crew rostering and maintenance planning capabilities in support of a large fleet operation.
The three-year contract is the largest single deal yet signed by Airops, which is trading as myairops, Gama highlighted.
"We are pleased with the market traction being achieved by myairops, demonstrated by the confidence placed in the platform by one of the world's largest business aircraft fleet operators," said Chief Executive Marwan Khalek.
"It is another example of our strategic organic investment into innovative services that simplify business aviation," added Khalek.
AIM-listed Gama shares were trading 4.5% higher in London on Tuesday at 52.25 pence each.
