LONDON (Alliance News) - Aviation services company Gama Aviation PLC on Wednesday said it is trading in line with its expectations and said it has submitted planning for a new facility in Aberdeen.
Gama said it is trading in line with its expectations in the first four months of 2015, with aircraft management contracts growth on track, boosted by the signing of a deal to manage a Gulfstream V jet in Mumbai, India, its first deal in the Indian market.
The company added its global fuel deal will result in better fuel rates in more than 400 locations.
Gama said it has submitted planning applications for a new facility in Aberdeen, which will serve the east coast of Scotland and handle the company's multi-year deal with NHS Scotland, under which it will manage the Scottish Air Ambulance fleet. If approved, the hangar will be opened in 2016.
Shares in Gama were up 3.5% to 281.95 pence on Wednesday.
