Gama Aviation 2016 Expectations Unchanged, But Notes Share Price Drop

13th Jun 2016 08:36

LONDON (Alliance News) - Gama Aviation PLC on Monday said there has been no change in its expectations for its 2016 performance since publishing its results on April 21, after noting the recent decline in its share price.

Shares in Gama Aviation were up 2.4% at 210.00 pence on Monday, but have fallen gradually since May 18 from 262.50p.

Responding to the fall in share price, Gama Aviation on Monday said it has not changed its expectations for the year to end December 31 since publishing its last set of results on April 21.

At the time, Gama Aviation Chief Executive Marwan Khalek had said that "overall we believe that 2016 will be a year with both significant opportunities for Gama Aviation but also one which presents certain challenges".

"We will seek to maximise the opportunities that our developing and growing markets present whilst being acutely aware of the challenges we face in Europe," Khalek had said.
